You've probably seen great design and good quality at the Design Indaba, or featured in the pages of VISI or Elle, not to mention the countless blogs. People are raving about it. Creative Cape Town has been climbing, lying, sitting, sleeping, crying, laughing all over it in the process of acquiring their fix. It’s a brand to boast about and because we believe that you are your brand, I went to investigate. The guys met me at their coffee shop called the Field Office in the East City precinct.

New Kartell Flagship Store in Cape Town

What would a World Design Capital be without its own mono-branded Kartell store?

Kartell, Italian furniture manufacturer, famous for their unique plastic creations opened their first mono-branded store in Cape Town this week. The store which covers 146m2 spread over two levels on the corner of Hudson and Strand streets in the De Waterkant area will showcase designs by Ron Arad, Philippe Starck, Patrick Jouin and other famous designers.
