The New Deluxe Coffee Works, Yard Dive Vibe and Mucky Mary's Hubcap Breakfast!

The new roaster customized by local graffiti artist, Mantis.
The New Deluxe is located just around the corner from KUBE architecture so for us this is a pretty special event. No more having to settle for second rate offerings. Kudos to Olaf Nel, who was also responsible for the Church street outlet. It looks great and while the wait has been painful, the new shop is finally open...and we've got some pic's....

Why not keep your carbon emission down by taking your bicycle!   They've made arrangements, in fact on Thursday 2nd August, the Moonlightmass will be coming through. In keeping with the original Deluxe aesthetic the finishes which include steel, timber and dark screed equate to a heavy-duty space which can handle tyres, wheels and people of all sorts...
There's more than enough space, and 2 coffee machines will ensure you won't be waiting long for yours. The alley space or " Yard Dive Vibe ", which is how the creative collection of bits and bobs located at 6 Roodehek street is currently referred to, ensures that there is something to eat and drink for everyone ...and  is also ideal as an overflow space for those more popular evenings.

Towards the rear they've also included a gallery space which will be exhibiting work by young up-and-coming local artists...and customized bikes! Which it so happens will be for sale! So...how do you take your coffee? 60...70...120?

The Yard Dive Vibe is also home to Mucky Mary which serves a solid breakfast at a decent price, and there's also a lunch menu from The B*%#$s T*#s and in the evening...well of course there are delicious burgers from The Dog's Bollocks up for grabs. Seats and offerings are limited though so make sure you check in early.

...and for those people who don't know where it is, the entrance is right behind the white vintage Lotus... and just in case...

If you'd like to keep in touch with what's going on you can find us on Facebook and Twitter...and be sure to check out our website for some great architecture.
